Dean Hosts Topic-A: Your Thoughts?
Did anyone else watch Howard Dean guest host on Topic-A last night on CNBC? His guests included Jon Stewart of The Daily Show, Tavis Smiley, Bev Harris of Black Box Voting and comedian Margaret Cho and I thought he did an excellent job. What did you think?

I enjyed the gov being the host...talking about his issues and leading instead of having others twist around him and his words. I agree with Jeanne what a class act!

-- Thanks so much to those who volunteered to phonebank at Kerry HQ!!!
-- I wanted to let you know that the Kerry volunteer coordinators are very pleased we have volunteered to help with phone banking on Monday nights from 6-8pm, but they request that we begin on 8/16, due to a training session they will be having there for their own staff this Monday 8/9.
-- We're Dean-ocrats for KERRY!!! Each Monday night at Kerry HQ, please be sure to wear a Democracy for America shirt or a Dean shirt or some other DfA gear, as well as a Kerry button or sticker, so that it's obvious that we are Kerry supporters who would like to help promote the progressive issues of Howard Dean, DfA, DfNM. I have an extra Dean T-shirt, so if anyone doesn't have one, please let me know.

OOOPS! slight correction:

Nancy, I corrected the oops in your first comment here, so now we have it right twice. Repetition can be helpful!
Thanks for your work in coordinating the phone banking project. If anyone else wants to be involved in our phone banking at Kerry HQ on Mondays for a couple hours, please email me or Nancy G. above.
This is an excellent chance to get some recognition for Democracy for New Mexico while helping in the all-out effort folks are making to get Bush outta there. Show George the Door in 2004!
