Civil Disobedience Training sponsored by GetEQUAL NM will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 8:00 AM to 12 Noon at the Encuentro Community Center located at 714 Fourth Street SW in Albuquerque.
Learn how to do peaceful, non-violent at-risk action. We'll discuss what happens in an arrest, legal issues and terms, safety, the importance of consensus decision-making, and tactics such as strategic non-violence, de-escalation, and passive resistance. $5 suggested donation.
