Heinrich Debate Schedule Includes 3 Live Televised Events
Because we've been on vacation roadtrip for a couple weeks to Northern California, we're still trying to catch up on events. Last week, the Martin Heinrich for Congress campaign released a debate schedule for the NM-01 race (see below for details). According to the campaign, the schedule -- which includes three televised debates -- is aimed at giving the people of central New Mexico several opportunities to hear directly from Martin about the issues that matter most to them.
New Mexico First and New Mexico Public Broadcasters - Friday, October 15, 2010, 6 to 7 PM: This town hall style debate is in collaboration with KNME-TV and will be moderated by Sam Donaldson. The debate will be simulcast on all three New Mexico public television stations and air on many public radio stations. For more information, visit www.NMFirst.org.
Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce - Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 12 to 1:30 PM: For more information, visit .
KOB Eyewitness News 4 - Thursday, October 28, 2010, 7 to 8 PM: Live broadcast, moderated by Tom Joles and Nicole Brady. For more information, visit KOB.com.
KRQE News 13 - Saturday, October 30, 2010, 7 to 8 PM: Live broadcast, moderated by Dick Knipfing.
To date, Martin has participated in two forums with his opponent and a debate hosted by the Women Impacting Public Policy and the Association of Commerce and Industry.
Right now, the Heinrich campaign needs your help. Please sign up here to volunteer whatever hours you can afford to help us keep this seat in Democratic hands. Time is ticking!
