8/4-8/7: Rep. Ben Ray Luján to Visit Kewa Pueblo, Clovis and Tucumcari NM

Congressman Ben Ray Lujan (NM-03) is back in New Mexico during the August Congressional break and is meeting constituents and attending a variety of events this month. Here are three events he'll be attending over the next few days:
On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, Rep. Luján will visit Kewa Pueblo (formerly Santo Domingo Pueblo) and attend their feast day.
On Friday, August 6, Rep. Luján will visit Clovis where he will attend the Cannon Air Force Base Appreciation Day at 11:30 AM at Cannon Air Force Base, and participate in a ribbon cutting at 1:30 PM for the Eastern Plains Housing Development Corp., The Cheyenne Trails Apartments, Ruby Goforth Community Building, 1504 Red Cloud Place in Clovis.
On Saturday, August 7, Rep. Luján will visit Tucumcari where he will tour the Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital, 823 East Main Street, to discuss rural health care at 8:00 AM that day.

When is Congressman Lujan going to explain why at the end of last month he voted in favor of an additional $33 billion in supplemental funds for the war in Afghanistan.

I'm for bringing them home. Jobs based on maintaining empire are immoral.

So is almost everyone. It's hard to do it with the snap of a finger and without funding to extricate the troops without causing all hell to break loose. Surely you understand the real problems in the situation left by Bush.
