8/31: Special DFA-DFNM Meetup with Rep. Martin Heinrich and Judge Robert E. Robles

Mark your calendars for a special DFA-DFNM Meetup set for Tuesday, August 31, at 7:00 PM in the Social Hall at the First Unitarian Church at Carlisle and Comanche in Albuquerque. We'll be welcoming Democratic Congressman Martin Heinrich, the incumbent candidate for the U.S. House in New Mexico's First Congressional District.

Rep. Heinrich has taken time out of his busy schedule to speak to the group and take questions, so let's have a big turnout to let Martin know we appreciate his participation. Don't miss this chance to interact directly with Rep. Heinrich and learn more about his experiences during his first term in Washington, as well as his reelection campaign.

As we all know, this election cycle will be a tough one for Democrats and we can't allow the GOP to retake the NM-01 seat. Get Congressman Heinrich's take on the political climate and what we need to do to win.

We'll also be hearing from Appeals Court Judge Robert E. Robles, who is running to retain his position and has a Republican challenger. It's easy for judicial contests to get lost in the ballot shuffle, but we can't let that happen in November, especially in this race.
