This month's Albuquerque DFA-DFNM Meetup is set for tonight, Thursday, April 2, at 7:00 PM at the First Unitarian Church Social Hall on the SW corner of Carlisle and Comanche. We'll be focusing on grassroots activism in connection with the push for genuine health care reform organized by Democracy for America and Howard Dean. You can learn more about the project (pdf). We'll also be discussing emerging efforts to increase advocacy on the part of Democrats for equal civil rights for GLBT citizens, and what happened (and didn't happen) at the New Mexico Legislature this Session.
