Rep. Teague Announces Harry's Help Line

Congressman Harry Teague (D, NM-02) has announced Harry’s Help Line, a new toll free number to make it easier for his constituents to get in touch with him. Folks from across Southern New Mexico can get in touch with Rep. Teague's office at 1-888-9-TEAGUE (1-888-983-2483) without paying long distance charges. Constituents are encouraged to call if they need help with a federal agency, want to share their views on general issues, or have questions about the Recovery Act.

“Part of my job is to make sure that my constituents have every resource they need to get in touch with me and my office,” said Congressman Harry Teague in a statement released today. “I hope people from across southern New Mexico will not hesitate to call 1-888-9-TEAGUE if they need help with a federal issue or have a question about the Recovery Act. My staff is ready to help and they will do their best to cut through the red tape and get constituents a fair and timely response.”

In addition to announcing 1-888-9-TEAGUE, yesterday Congressman Harry Teague joined the New Mexico delegation in announcing a New Mexico specific Recovery Act Resource Guide designed to help ensure that constituents can make the most of the economic recovery package enacted into law last month. Interested parties can request a copy of the Resource Guide by calling the Harry Help Line.
