Dr. Dean: Stop Making Sense
There he goes again. Making sense and refusing to mince his words. Why is this man not being pursued to head Health and Human Services? In an interview with Chris Matthews, Howard Dean tells it like it is on Obama's plans for health insurance reform. And what would NOT constitute health insurance reform. Dean originally ran for president primarily to push universal health care on the national scene after having made excellent progress on that as Governor of Vermont. Dean would be an honest broker and negotiator on this issue, one who clearly would rely on common sense and facts to be persuasive. Why would the Obama team be ignoring him as a top-notch candidate to run HHS?

Please take the time to email both President Obama and VP Biden in support of Dr. Dean at HHS; I believe the very future of American Health and Illness Prevention is at stake; I welcome your insights and ideas.
Thank You!

Ask Rham Emanuel.. also Dean just does not fit in. They are busy looking for people in the middle ground. Actually Dean is not a maverick when it comes to health care reform nationally. He knows the politics of reform. He could get it done given the chance...

President Obama is a smart guy, but I don't think he is really used to being a team player among people who are really as smart as--or maybe SMARTER than--he is. I strongly suspect that Dr. Dean is in that category.

Too bad. Obama picked Kathleen Sebelius for HHS Secretary. This also screws up our chances to win a Senate seat in Kansas because Sebelius was planning to run after she ended as governor. She had a great chance to win too.
I don't get Obama sometimes. He thinks too much inside the box.
