Update: The New York Times is reporting that the reporter who threw his shoes at Bush is becoming a folk hero and celebrity in the Arab world and beyond. Also, a petition has been posted demanding the immediate release of the journalist, Montather Al-Zaidi.

Here's a version that includes Bush's responses to the shoe event. I guess he believes shoe "tho-ing" is an acceptable way to express one's self in a democracy.

Other reports said the Iraqi security forces were beating the man afterwards, you can hear him yell at the end of the first clip. Wonder if they got their training at Abu Ghraib.

Bush later said he didn't know "what the guy's beef is." I guess he hasn't noticed the death and destruction his invasion and badly managed occupation has caused in Iraq. Guess George doesn't get that he put in one of the most corrupt governments in the world either.

Booo$h doesn't get much of anything much less how the Iraqi people feel about being invaded and occupied. Although somewhat grateful for the demise of their former dictator, reality is, being occupied sucks..
