11/20: DPBC Third Thursday Meeting to Focus on Homeless APS Students

From the DPBC: The next Democratic Party of Bernalillo County Third Thursday Meeting is set for November 20 at 6:00 PM at Room 2401 at the UNM Law School in Albuquerque (map). Lovee McGee will talk to us about those APS students (2,500) who are homeless and attend APS schools. This will be our service project for this year. She is in need of coats, jackets, gloves and caps for these children as soon as possible. They range in sizes from kindergarten to high school. These children live under bridges and in cars with their parents and other siblings. Please bring any of these items (lightly used or new) to Thursday's meeting. All are welcome.
