News from Harwood Art Center re: "Politic"

WHAT: "Politic," an exhibition of constructions by Albuquerque artist Joe Forrest Sackett. Sackett's steel and mixed-media work incorporates symbols and images familiar to us from the daily news, and asks the viewer to reconsider these images in light of the current polarized political atmosphere. 

WHERE: Harwood Art Center, Main Gallery, 1114 7th NW, corner of 7th Street and Mountain Road

WHEN: January 2-30, 2007. A reception will be held Friday, January 19, from 5:00 - 8:30 PM, in conjunction with ArtsCrawl. Gallery hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 13.
