Sunday (Snow) Bird Blogging

My my, hey hey! Albuquerque finally got a few inches of snow this morning, after months of virtually nothing in the way of precipitation. The snow put Bosco the peach-faced lovebird in a contemplative mood (above).

His pal, the Roswell green alien, was moved to give the peace sign since this week will, unfortunately, mark the third anniversary of the start of the Iraq War.

Our baby sun conure, Sunny, seemed most concerned with starting off the week spick and span, and took a snowy morning bath in his new water bowl. Snowy moisture in the air, big time moisture on Sunny, drying off above with what we call his dollie. He's all ready for a week that will bring State Dem Party meetings Friday and Saturday, and the anti-Iraq War march on Saturday. Aye matey! (Click on photos for larger images.)
