it appears that both the dpnm and mayor chavez have launched new websites this week. what's everyone's thoughts? do they do the job?

I think that the DPNM website is a nice change. Ia m biased though b/c I work for the party but there is no question that there is always room for improvement.

In regards to the website of Mayor Chavez i really like the way that they try to capture email before you enter the website. This is a quick and easy way to build your supporter list for volunteer activities, fundraising and communicating with your supporters.

The website itself is very slick and user friendly and provides many different opportunities for a supporter to take action.

I don't like that he does not have a blog. What better way to engage your supporters with your own thoughts and priciples and vision.

i agree! since you work at the state party, maybe you could get them to add a blog too!

Well I agree, I think that the opportunity is there for someone, a volunteer for example to do it. I think that if anyone is intrerested they should email me and I would gladly pass it up.

This might make for a good debate, should the party have a blog?

I don't see that the DPNM has a new web site. All I can find is the old site, with some new pictures.

The DPNM web site has a discussion forum built in, but it is turned off. Back in January or February, before I was told by Matt Farrauto that my volunteer help was no longer needed with the site, I tried to get him to enable the discussion forum. He refused, saying they'd tried it and gotten too many posts they didn't like.
